Invision Community 4: SEO, prepare for v5 and dormant account notifications By Matt November 11, 2024
Brandon C Posted September 27, 2006 Posted September 27, 2006 As I couldn't get an answer in the last thread, I'd like someone who is able to answer this for me to do so, please. One question: Will/are the smileys in the Side Panel be clickable and fixed for PB2?I don't want this to turn into one big flame fest like the last thread, I just wanted to discuss the Side Panel Emoticons for the PB2 release. Also, is it expected to be released tomorrow permitting there are no showstopper bugs in it?
Guest Posted September 27, 2006 Posted September 27, 2006 they seem to be able to be dragged now though...
RawkBob Posted September 27, 2006 Posted September 27, 2006 But when you drag them they insert an image (using the tags) and not an emoticon using something like :emotname:
techteamgr Posted September 28, 2006 Posted September 28, 2006 Sorry for being off topic, but is there a public beta 2 available?I can't find it in the announcements section or in my customer area. Edit: oops, please ignore my question, I just found this:http://forums.invisionpower.com/index.php?showtopic=227496

When it is, you will see it announced in the Company News forum.
UBERHOST.NET Posted September 28, 2006 Posted September 28, 2006 But when you drag them they insert an image (using the [img]tags) and not an emoticon using something like :emotname:Yeah I'm not liking it since it conflicts with my Imageshack Toolbar, though it does work fine in RTE mode. Still, a single click is better than drag & drop IMHO.
