lorio Posted September 24, 2006 Posted September 24, 2006 Implement a separate url setting for login urls into the ACP.That way the login process could be done via ssl without having every board page secured via ssl.Nobody seems to use SSL with Boards at all. At least Mods and Admins should use SSL to protect their passwords better. Thanks for reading!
MindTooth Posted September 24, 2006 Posted September 24, 2006 I am not familiar with previous problems related to the topic. But it would be an suggestion to consider.Birger :)
Brandon C Posted September 24, 2006 Posted September 24, 2006 I would like to see this, as currently my entire board is SSL'ed because of the lack of this feature. I'd definitely use this feature if it were in IPB.
Strange_Will Posted September 25, 2006 Posted September 25, 2006 I'd like for IPB to be compatable in both SSL and non-ssl at the same time, creating a copy for SSL doesn't work very well, and there are good uses for SSL, not to mention SSL creates more server overhead.
