ellawella Posted June 12, 2006 Posted June 12, 2006 When a mod warns a member and chooses to contact them via email, the member will receive the email as if it is from the mod, i.e. with the mod's email address. I suggest that future warning emails like this are sent from the board's outgoing email address.
JeremyM Posted June 20, 2006 Posted June 20, 2006 This topic hasn't gotten any attention. I like this suggestion. +1
bfarber Posted June 20, 2006 Posted June 20, 2006 Just cuz I didn't respond doesn't mean I didn't see it (and/or already implement it).
JeremyM Posted June 20, 2006 Posted June 20, 2006 Do you see all of the topics, because I might continue bumping ones I like... ;)
bfarber Posted June 20, 2006 Posted June 20, 2006 I see everything  Seriously though, I read through all topics in this forum (that have had responses since my last visit) and only respond if need be (i.e. if I don't like the idea, need clarification, etc.). This one could *nearly* be considered a bug.
JeremyM Posted June 20, 2006 Posted June 20, 2006 Just a suggestion, but if you like the idea and you will look into it maybe make a simple post "noted" or something. I understand if you don't have time though...Offtopic but do you know how much IPB charges hourly for custom modification?
bfarber Posted June 20, 2006 Posted June 20, 2006 Custom modification charges weigh in several several factors (how much you've spent, scale of modification, if we can reuse it, how many hours, and so on) so there is no clear cut answer on that. And the reason I don't respond to every suggestion I *like* (or intend to implement) is because 1) If I don't implement it, it will be thrown in my face that I responded 2) Someone will undoubtedly go "why are you doing this suggestion but not my great 733T suggestion here : insert link to some suggestion" I can't deal with *that*. Besides, we haven't posted any official roadmap for 2.2, and anything is subject to change. So, for the record now, every suggestion should be considered noted, as I don't have the time to do it on an individual basis, and I can't do it on an individual basis for the reasons above.

Oh okay...and fyi, it's 1337 not 733T :P
