.Kennedy
I think you should add the option of uploading in the actual attachments section. :)
Oncle Tom
Yes but what for, only storing files without adding them anywhere else ? If yes, at least it would be excellent to choose to add an already uploaded file into a post. Think we have already added an attached file somewhere, i want to attach it too in another post (or select an file uploaded via the system you ask for) : i can't do it without uploading the file .. another time. Maybe when writing a post, next to the "add attachment into post", they may have a button with "add an existent file" which opens a popup with the existing files uploaded, a click to paste the BBcode into the post, like the smiley popup. .Kennedy
erm if you want an attachment to show in another topic, just go [attachment = id]... The reason is because i like being able to upload an image or file without people seeing it in a topic, reply or poll. Maybe just an option where in the post you can select whether or not to have it show? Zip:COMPLETED.zip
Oncle Tom
I know you just have to add this code but ... it's not very handy. I completed your idea because i don't think a forum is only there for personnal storage. In general you only need a web account from your ISP to make the same without bloating a board. Germany
I disagree with that. It'll fill up the server needlessly.
Antony
Members Should be able to upload WITHOUT Posting if a Admin has given them Permission to do So. But Members should be able to manage all thier Attatchements In Posts in the UCP. Also, an Uploads log in the ACP is Needed.
