Is there a standard way in the settings of 4.2 to increase the height of the Photo in the Club Header for all clubs? Same question for all Blogs and all Personal Profiles? We had used some custom CSS in the past for blogs; but, it created a whole other stream of design problems. So, we were hoping for a standard way in 4.2. If not, is there no standard way because it does have that ripple effect on so many other design features? If that is the case, I'm fine with that and will keep it standard. I'm not looking for a way to hack it. It would just be a nice option to be able to set that height in the admin settings. Lastly, is there a place we should be posti…

Hi, I’m trying to make email subject lines include topic titles when a new mention is made, but they just fail to work (no email is sent at all). The way I did it is was by inserting this line in "Languages" instead of the default one for mailsub__core_notification_mention: Moreover, when I try to replace the default one for mailsub__core_notification_new_comment (which is precisely “{$comment->item()->mapped("title")|raw}”) to “Re: {$comment->item()->mapped("title")|raw}” (with just the addition of "Re: "), it stops working, too (no emails sent). What am I doing wrong?

I'm trying out Clubs but I have run into a problem I can't figure out. I have create a Club and invited another member but this member can't access the topic tab; Sorry, there is a problem We could not locate the item you are trying to view. Error code: 2F176/1 I, as owner can see it so I guess there is something with the permissions but can't find a setting for it? I also tried promoting the member to both leader and moderator without success.

No forums are checked so what topics am I seeing? I am loving the fluid forum options but some of the basic navigation and implementation is confusing to me. In addition to the absence of "select all" or "unselect all" there is weird behavior when unchecking everything. I still get topics.. I am confused. I would expect to see something like "No Topics. Please select at least one category from the right in order to see some topics." Although that wouldn't be very good either. Maybe the idea is that if you don't select anything to limit it down, you then get everything? but it just seemed weird to me at first. New users might not right away know that those c…

So as the admin i have my personal Facebook / Twitter accounts associated to my admin profile. I went to the ACP and thought I could connect my alternate forum related accounts to the social media promotion but it seems to be tethered to my personal accounts (used for also for login) Am i missing something?

Is there an easy way to get a sales report for an individual commerce product? As far as I can see the only options are to get a list of sales against a product, which then requires you to click on every single sale item to get any useful information, or to go through statistics > sales. This seems to be even more painful because the the 'filter' options require you to deselect each product in turn and wait for the graph to refresh, so if you have anything other than a small list the process renders the system unusable. There must be some way of getting a basic list of sales by product?

Hello, We're hoping to eventually give our clients a single-sign-on solution for our product, community, and support applications. I'm hoping to use Auth0 (https://auth0.com/) as the master SSO application. I'm aware that I have two options to implement the SSO: 1) Hire Invision to do it, or 2) Create a plugin myself. Here's my question: If we decide to use IPS Community as-is right now and postpone the implementation SSO, will it be painful later to migrate our users to the new authentication method? I want to make sure that we don't put ourselves in a position where we'd need to have our members to re-sign up. Thanks for your feedback, Bret

I wasn't sure where exactly to post this because I'm already a client with multiple licenses. I am however, thinking of using IPS to manage some clients on a server after seeing some of the commerce functions built in on one of my sites. I reluctantly created a politics sub-forum on my site, and the rules state that people can be banned from this section of the forum if they repeatedly violate the rules. Problem is, I don't know how to do that, or if it's even possible to block a member from a single section of the forum. I can think of a workaround, but a lot of work.
