Is it possible to duplicate the clubs application? I would like to have multiple types of clubs that are called different things. For example using the ALC Languages I am changing clubs to be called "circles". I would also like another version of the clubs application installed but instead of that one being called clubs I would like to call it "Teams". So, people can create a circle or they can create a team. I might even then create another one or two with different names.

I am a new user. I was looking into translate to change the title of clubs to groups. I am not sure how I did it but when I login now I only see the translate functions and when I go to "site" all labels show us as functions. How do I get back to "normal"? Thanks!

Is it possible to have the users have time limit on editing forum posts, but unlimited editing of pages records? As I see it, it is pretty limiting to have the same time limit on all types of content.

I want to add the ability for members to see related files when viewing files in Downloads. For example if a member is viewing an eagle file in downloads there will be a widget that will recommend other bird related files to the member. Ideally the recommendation will be based on tags, or file title name, or other parameters which I can set. I don't see a way to do this in IPS admin and didn't find anything like this in Marketplace. Is there an existing solution? Is this something which is easily built?

making stripe take care of the payouts, instead of Paypal I'm using Stripe to do all transactions...i don't want to use paypal at all....maybe a way to have stripe take care of the payouts when using Stripe as default and main payment system? I may have missed this part....

How do I create a Q&A forum in Clubs? In the main Forums app it's easy; you just specify the type of forum you want to create when you set it up in the ACP. But I can't see anything of the sort on the front or in the ACP if you're creating a forum in a Club. It's just a default discussion forum.

Up until now my premium memberships were handed manually - I get the money via paypal, I upgrade the member group of the user and try to monitor when it expires. I will now automate this process via Commerce. My issue is with migrating the people that are already subscribers, can I somehow add them to premium subscription? Is generating a "Paid" invoice enough to do it?

I hope this is the right place to ask this. I am new here. I have Pages And Forums and have added an image header. I am not using a logo so the forum moves up into the header space. I would like to change that by increasing the size of the header and could not find where to do that. I tried looking at ipsPageHeader and was not able to make any changes that worked. Since I am not too technical I would love some advice. Thanks!

My site made the switch to S3 last week and some of my members and myself are still experiencing broken images. Since there are those who see them I have to assume it's member side and not Amazon. So any help to remedy this? I've cleared cache, flushed DNS, restarted, etc...

My site uses quite a few pages - some which store critical data, images, etc. Some of the pages however, talk about some of the sub-communities of the community. I would like to give the moderators/administrators of each sub-community edit access for the pages related to them. My question is, is it possible to give edit access on a page by page basis, rather than just giving an administrator access over ALL the pages?

Hi, just wondering what methods people are using for the registration process, and how well the IPS anti spam works? Currently on my vbulletin board I use email verification and manual approval. This causes 2 problems, firstly people are impatient and expect immediate access to everything these days, i usually don't get round to approving members till late in the day. Secondly, probably only around 50% of people seem to even receive the email. I'd like to do away with email verification but don't want to be flooded with spam bots. Interested to hear everyones settings and their results. Thanks

Hi so I sell advertising on my forum and set it up so that advertisers can choose to pay via PayPal recurring payment on a monthly basis. I just noticed after getting the second months payment from one advertiser that their ad is now disabled. Surley if they are paying on a recurring basis and set so in the acp their ad should still be live. Am I missing a setting or something?

Why inside the ACP does it ask each admin to add their details? It seems to work as one, so I don't get this. I set my site up but nobody else can gain access to the features inside the ACP due to it requesting them to set it up. Is this normal?

Hey all, got a quick (hopefully easy) question. I'm working with a developer on a larger site, and am at a point where I'd like to have the forum package added to the server where the site is hosted. I know the forum can be downloaded from the Client Area, but I'd prefer not to provide my login to them. Does anyone know how one would arrange third party access to the Client Area or provide another way that they could get access to download the forum. Thanks in advance for the assistance! Pete

Hello, I would like to display on the front end the amount of members in a group that will update automatically. Basically we run a game server where access is purchased through our store and once we have X amount of members with access we upgrade it, we would like to show members how many people have access via the group so they can see how close we are to the next upgrade if that makes sense. So like what you see in the ACP > Members > Groups but being able to put it in PHP or a block on the front end. Thanks
