  3. @Kevin Carwile you sir, are an absolute star
  4. Thanks Nathan, I have tried with that method but to no avail, anyone else have any ideas?
  5. @Ralf H Yeh, I did look at that but you can't edit below the forum root. i.e: I can only do: Friendly URL http://yoursite.com/forum/ (My Profile URL HERE) I want to do: Friendly URL http://yoursite.com/ (My Profile URL HERE) My forums do not sit in the domain root. They sit in the /forum/ sub-directory.
  6. Just to add to this, is there a way to change the URL of ALL username links so that they point to a custom profile page?
  7. @newbie LAC EDIT: Sorry, I meant @Vikestart The code below works fine for me. Hopefully this will help you out. Sorry for the delay. <?php /* ############### CALL THE IPS MEMBER INFO ############### */ require_once( 'path/to/your/init.php' ); \IPS\Session\Front::i(); $memCSRF = \IPS\Session::i()->csrfKey; $member = \IPS\Member::loggedIn(); /* ### SET THE MEMBER VARIABLES ### */ $memName = $member->name; $memEmail = $member->email; $memID = $member->member_id; /* ############### END IPS MEMBER INFO ############### */ ?> <!doctype html> <html> <head> <meta charset="utf-8"> <title>Untitled Document</title> </head> <body> <p>Hello <?php echo $memName; ?></p> <p><a href="forum/logout/?csrfKey=<?php echo $memCSRF; ?>">Logout</a></p> <!-- ## CHANGE THE LINK TO YOUR LOGOUT PAGE ## --> </body> </html>
  8. Off to work for a few hours but I will post my full code for you when I return.
  9. @newbie LAC you are an absolute star! Thank you very much!
  10. Hi all, I am creating an external page that pulls the member data from the database, that is no problem. I need to create a logout link on this external page but am unable to do this as I do not know how to get the current (logged in) members CSRF Key. So when I point the link to forum/logout/ I get the The CSRF protection key did not match, error page. Does anyone know how I can get the CSRF key data to be able to log the user out please? Kind regards
  11. Thank you for that. Very handy for my needs.
  12. Seriously. It's that simple? lol Thank you very much mate, did not spot that at all.
  13. Hi all, I am creating a custom site and (oddly enough) I need to completely disable the profile area of the software. Anyone know of a way to do this? Ideally I would like all the links to someones profile to redirect to a custom profile page outside of the forum but cant seem to get the .htaccess anywhere near working. Any help out there at all? Many thanks.
  14. Its fixed now. Just in case someone else has the same problem, my error was because the CKeditor was set to a different theme. I changed it to the default CKEditor theme and now it works fine.
  15. The text editor on my forum is not displaying anywhere (this includes the AdminCP). I have tried in Firefox, IE and IOS. I have also checked the permissions etc. Please see the attached screenshot. Does anyone have any idea as to why this is? Kind regards
  16. Anyone please? Is there a file I have to modify? Or a setting I am missing?
  17. Ok, So the root of my forum displays the "Something went wrong" and EX0 error code. Also, in the admin area: community/forums segment, only my first category is listed and everything else is listed as forums_forum_forumid for both categories AND forums. Does anyone have any idea as to what is going on?
  18. Cancel the above. I am in ok, but now the pages have the Error Code EX0 and "Something went wrong" message. Oh my days
  19. Thanks Sonic. I have got online now and into the admin area fine but the forum homepage displays a driver error screen stating there appears to be an error with the database. Not sure whats going on now.
