Has there been any talk about adding Courses to non-cloud-based IPB clients? There has been talk when it first came out but it been not talk much about it for IPB 5?

What is a data layer, what does it do, what is it user for, pretty much everything to do with a data layer. I take it will be updated for IPB5?

Thanks Marc, but where is the file directory to where the page is to see if the page permission is set correctly or is there a file list of what permission for what need to be set for the files after being install. I recall in IPB 3 this was an issue a long time ago.

I'm not finding much about anything to do with Data Layer search and the Help area. I recall a guide area for looking for information with setup or using applications and all. Where has that area gone to to if not in the help area? Like to learn more but not finding much data on this information. Anybody know where I can find this or point me in the correct area to go to?

Was there ever a fix to address this from the stuff been spoken internally?

Has DevFuse (Michael) killed his mods and moved on? I don't recall seeing a post about it.

This is more about the subject content, not 100% on the image, given it the over all idea of being back the listing of error codes that were listing before it was taken away IPB 3.0 ish.

Over the various versions of IPB forums and applications, one of the most significant challenges for self-hosted admins has been the lack of clarity in error messages. In the past, having error codes listed was incredibly helpful. They allowed me to identify issues quickly and resolve them without needing to open a support ticket. This saved considerable time—what might have taken an hour to fix on my own could otherwise take days of back-and-forth with support to resolve. The current example of error handling isn’t very helpful for self-hosted admins. Previously, the error code lists provided a way to look up and address issues independently, which was invaluable. I’d like to request that this feature be restored to assist self-hosted admins in troubleshooting errors more efficiently.

This may have already been asked before, but I haven't been able to find anything in the searches when I looked. But any timeframe that V5 well be out? Are we thinking 2025 1st Quarter more so than 2024?

I still don't get it, " reality a naming perspective than our decision from removing the Marketplace." Let me clear up my confusion. What does name perspective have to do with the mods? Are you speaking of the exchange between plugins and applications? Thank you for your reply but I was speaking more to what @Jim M was saying.
