I hate bumping threads but can I please bump this one?
Could anyone who has got Android detection working provide some info. Would gladly appreciate it -
I have a few more I want to add. Android is one, Opera Mini is another and another little smartphone web browser 'Bolt' which is getting some popularity. Unsure if this will be a 3.0.1 thing, though. Might add a way to import/export groups via XML. That would be handy dandy.
Been trying to get Android detection working but failing miserably so I' hoping maybe you have been able to work it out? -
Neowin is still using the 2.3 version... though they really do have a great skin.
I wouldn't really care for their Forum skin as such. As nice as it may be, I like more of their MOBILE skin as it works on all phones without any issues.
The Lo-Fi skin on here seems to work only on iPhones without any major issues. Stick symbian in the mix and you will have some issues. But then I suppose one could say "make your own lo-fi skin. -
Who should we report it to? If you google the link, and click the same link in the search result, you're still redirected to the same site.
EDIT: Tried a different browser, one that's never been used on this forum, and that worked
Report it to the tracker. Not some one specific as per say.

Even though I'm still doing some testing. -
That is weird, has anyone reported it yet?
Nah was waiting for confirmation. As I thought it was probably just me.
Thing is, other links that are in people's SIGS in this topic work.

Oh dear, remembers reading a particular post one day and now it may be coming back to bite some a**
Anyways, splended idea. But I still await other things to be completed/released/fixed before I go ahead with the 3 upgrade. -
It's all part of my plan ;)
Although, people still manage to send me several support-related PMs per day.
Shows dedication. lol -
Yeah, people who do that are annoying.

What happened to your M? -
Can you point me to where Matt made that specific quote? I don't know of any instances where the main forum skin crashes mobile browsers...
Shame I couldn't reply to this topic at the time. But I believe Artic posted the link. Was I wrong in thinking Matt meant fixing a mobile browser crashing bug?
Only asking, as I experience a problem where the new IPB 3 certainly crashes my Nokia N95's browser in full skin mode after a few page loads. 2 - 3 at times. There are other issues if I try use the Lo-Fi. Coz then I cant even read anything as the content becomes squashed. I will try see if I can capture screen once I can find the symbian program again to do so. -
Also got the same information on here -> http://www.invisionpower.com/products/requirements.php?app=board
Bar the fact that there's a minimum and recommended requirements. -
Do it already :)
Might still be lunch in the US of A -

There's a lot of things we can do with the lofi skin, which of course we will be exploring in more detail. We just need to get everything else rock solid first. Priorities. :)
Do you know when or if the fix of stopping the main forum skin crashing mobile browsers after a few page loads.
Think Matt said he was having a look...Ah yes. I still need to fix that Brandon. Regarding topic markers... hmm.
