  1. The subscriptions manager hasn't been forgotten about it - we recently had a big discussion about the direction to take it and as far as I am aware, Matt is working on it today.

We are aware of the problems with the subscription manager (which are mainly related to third-parties updating their APIs) and so it's taking a little longer to fix those issues than say, Gallery, Blog and Downloads which just needed to be updated to the IPB3 code :)

You mean from the beta 5 code, because you had all of them working fine on beta . Actually you have them working on RC 1 as well on the company forums. hmmmm....

  2. Did you guys not see?

That quote suggests by the end of this week...

Hmmm, not an English Professor, but that does not indicate days anywhere in that sentence, in fact, it clearly states weeks, witch is way too rough of an estimate. Considering we are a few days over due now.

People on this site like to twist stuff around, I really don't know why. A simple answer from an IPS staff is needed, not comments by members thinking they are doing IPS a favor by acting like IPSU (Invision Power Suck Up) member of the day.

  3. @FrostedPopFart You can feel free to block me, no hard feelings, I just feel that it's good business to follow up on a date provided, weather it be a 'rough date' or not, if you give a day/date/month, update people paying with there money, if you were offered something else I don't know, like a *rebate* for EXAMPLE from your mortgage company and they said to expect it around the back end of June, and July started and you had heard nothing, I guarantee you would be the first one on the horn blowing steam.

I'm not aggrivated, nor upset, I'm just looking for a follow-up from the announcement, nothing more nothing less, I was given that answer and we move on. You could read the topic title and you read it, that openly tells the world that you ALSO wanted to know, I bet if it said it was going to be in the Client Area this evening you would be giving the post kudos!

Nuff said, questions are openly free Mr PopTart, so on that note, I love you man :P

Couldn't agree more, simple answer from an IPS staff would fulfill this topics purpose.
  4. Nice to see this thread going to hell.

For the @ User I think a great idea would be changing the editor buttons a bit below the post. So that Reply Means @ User, Quote means, quoting the user, and MultiQuote still means the same thing.

Its a much more simple, and cleaner way to respond directly to someone in your post.

  5. Are you saying Manha is going to be your only competition in this actual contest ? :ermm: Or are you having some sort of battle of your own lol

    @ Killswitch

I feel your pain man. Just work with BETA5 as much as possible then paste the codes / images over that havn't changed (w00t)

I just really want to get my site on IPB3. So many features I want to me using from it.

And the @ user should be a button, looks nice, better then quotes sometimes.

  6. Uh, last I checked June was only three months past March, and we're already half-way through that anyway. Assuming they're able to stick to the by-June statement, no more than 2.5 more months.

I agree that it's taken a long time and I'm as anxious as anyone, but ranting about it does nothing.

Want meant to be a rant, doesn't sound like a rant... hmm... just looks like you want to b*tch about something. any way. Jan(original release) to June. Is 6 Months. As I already stated in my previous post. Hopefully if you ever reply to one of my posts, please read it, and not just skim it.
