  • Subforums Appear in Forum Top Level

Bit weird. Below is a snapshot of my A16 community's forum home page:

Could contain: File, Webpage, Page, Text

The forum 'Fan Showcase' is a subforum of 'Sonic Chat', but it's both listed as such under the appropriate parent forum AND listed separately as its own independent forum, which is not what I want to see.

Im not sure I understand the bug there. What I can see in your images would be correct. We show the subforums as a list under the forum name as shown in your second image, and when you go into the forum itself, you can see that subforum as you have always been able to

Hi Marc, the problem is that subforums are appearing in the main forum listing. At present it looks like this:

    Forum Homepage:

    - Subforum 1

    - Forum 1
    -- Subforum 1

    - Forum 2

    - Forum 3
    -- Subforum 2

    - Subforum 2

    ---

In the above example, Subforum 1 and Subforum 2 (italicised and underlined) should not be displayed as independent forums outside of the top-level forum tree. You can see this in my image in the OP (the top red circle is the subforum listed as its own top-level forum, the bottom red circle is the same subforum correctly displayed nested under its parent forum).

You can also see this issue visible on the V5 Alpha Preview forum (https://preview.invisionalpha5.com/), 'Addressed Feedback' is listed in the top-level forum listing, when it should only be visible as a nested link within the 'Feedback' forum.

    Hope that makes more sense?

@Marc This is what I have for pages.

Could contain: Page, TextCould contain: Page, Text

The "Records" category and the sub categories are shown fine but also added sub categories as its own category to the list.

Just following up and reporting that this is no longer an issue with Beta 1, so whatever @Esther E. did seemed to have worked - many thanks! 🙂
