  • "Feed from Articles" widget is cached, does not update when I change styles?

It looks to me like the "Feed from Articles" widget is cached? When I try different styles (Grid, Featured, Wall Paper....), I don't see a change, even after I click Finish editing and refresh the page.

And then at a later time when I come back to the page, the style has changed.

I'm not sure it's the same, because even after I click Finish editing I still can't preview the new style. I have to wait a few minutes before it updates on its own.

Ok here's what I believe is going on. There are two bugs at play.

    1. Can't preview styles while editing the page.
    2. Wdiget is cached, so you can't see styles even after clicking Finished editing.

Both bugs were present in Alpha.

Now in Beta bug #1 is still present but bug #2 was fixed only for Feed from Database, not for Feed from Articles widgets.

In Jimi's video here you can see both bugs at play in the Alpha, then he upgrades to Beta and you see that bug #2 is fixed because he's using a Feed from Database widget, however when I use a Feed from Articles widget, that bug #2 is still present in the Beta.

    Hope that helps.

Here's the video cued at the right location:

I do believe it to be the same issue. If once the other is resolved you still get the same issue, of course feel free to let me know. Esther is struggling to reproduce the other, so will go through this later.

As you can see in the video, issue #2 was already resolved in the beta for Feed from Database, and I am still getting it for Feed from Articles
