Invision Community 4: SEO, prepare for v5 and dormant account notifications Matt November 11, 2024Nov 11
Posted February 18Feb 18 Previously I used the excellent applications from @Adriano Faria to allow my members to ignore topics and forums.Since the removal of hooks in v5 these applications are no longer available. This functionality is much-loved by my members, and I suspect by many other communities, is there any way to get this as a baked-in feature?

March 16Mar 16 Bump.Curious to see what other community managers think about this - essential feature or just a nice-to-have?Never had it in the 16 years we’ve been operating as I’ve largely been against adding functionality through 3rd party plugins, so couldn’t say it’s essential. It’s not something that’s ever been requested/suggested either to be honest.Would be nice to give the members the option I guess though, I can see how it would be used outside of the main boards and specific topics of non interest if it was available.
March 24Mar 24 After upgrade to V5 this was by the far most missing requested feature. (second is ipsfocus theme)I even got money bounty to downgrade to v4.It would be really amazing if an altnerative API can be provided for @Adriano Faria or similiar feature provided as core part of forums.
