I'd like to suggest an expansion on the @mentions function in V5

Whilst single user mentions are very usefull would it be possible to consider adding @everymember and @usergroup ?

This is something  that has come up previously, but thank you for the suggestion. One thing I would say on here, is while I can see why @group may be handy, I would suggest that one for every member is probably not. I know personally I have removed myself from many facebook groups simply because that feature was introduced

can I ask why ?
I agree it wouldn't be a great option if offered to all member groups but it could be useful for admin

Ive removed myself from facebook groups because of it, simply because its annoying as a user.

I don't use facebook much anyway but I do find it helpful if a group I've forgotten I'm in suddenly mentions me

This would be OK for smaller groups, but if you had 500,000 members in the same group and tagged them, it would be a lot of notifications to send out (a good number being email too).

It's more of a technical reason for it not being possible right now.
