Starting from some weeks ago, some users (but not all) mainly from Chrome (but not only), have been receiving the error:

Bad Request

Your browser sent a request that this server could not understand.
Size of a request header field exceeds server limit.
Apache Server at default-xxx_www_qqq_yy Port 443

I have updated the values as follows, but without any result. Where do you recommend checking?

LimitRequestLine 36768
LimitRequestFieldSize 36768

Honestly to me it sounds like a cop out answer from the host. If they actually investigated it, they would know and be able to pretty easily be able to say what the biggest items in the request was.

I would personally ask them for more detail and to identify what they are claiming is the culprit.
