Posted October 29, 20213 yr We have just started a new site from scratch. We have this selected - Allowed where member group can post But when testing as a guest we cannot see either the reply to this topic button or the Join the conversation, You can post now and register later. If you have an account, sign in now to post with your account. What other settings do we need to configure for this to work? Many thanks

Hi, I think it is because clubs are the main focus of this site and the only forums are in the clubs. I created a test normal forum and it works. is there a way that this feature can work for forums created in clubs? Thanks again
October 29, 20213 yr is there a way that this feature can work for forums created in clubs? Good question. As I don’t use none of these two features, will wait for someone from IPS to reply.
October 29, 20213 yr Community Expert It should actually work in any area that can be posted to by a member. The club in question, can a member post to before joining?

No a member can't until he clicks the join club button. once he has joined a club the start new topic button appears. is there a setting to let members post in the club forum before joining a club?
October 29, 20213 yr Community Expert That is the reason why guests cannot post in that club. A club needs to be a public club where people to not have to join in order to be able to be posted in using post before register, as it has to be something whereby an initial registering user would ordinarily be able to instantly post

October 29, 20213 yr Management Solution I believe Clubs were purposely excluded from Post Before Register because of the very unique permission sets that can be configured around Clubs.
