Invision Community 4: SEO, prepare for v5 and dormant account notifications By Matt Monday at 02:04 PM
Disruption Posted November 20, 2018 Posted November 20, 2018 As the title states, is it possible for users to upload videos into the Gallery? If so, how can they go about doing that? Thank you! If not, is there a plugin available to do so?

bfarber Posted November 20, 2018 Posted November 20, 2018 In summary, yes - it's a group-level permission.

But when I try to add a mp4 file to the Member Album, it doesn't even process or anything. Am I doing it correctly? See how upload is greyed out. This applies to both images and videos.

Doesn't look like our uploader is loading correctly. I would suggest trying on the default IPS theme. If that renders the same result, please submit a ticket and we can assist further.
Joel R Posted November 20, 2018 Posted November 20, 2018 This was actually a new feature for 4.3. Check your upload limit? Also, are you cloud or self hosted?
bfarber Posted November 21, 2018 Posted November 21, 2018 As Jim said, the legacy "Choose file" uploader there indicates some of the fancier stuff is not loading correctly and might explain why you're experiencing problems.
