I would like to allow my members to input their usernames of other forums into their profile so that other members can find them.

For example there is a forum called TSP that a lot of my members belong to. I would like to allow them to put their TSP username into their profile and then other members can see that member is also a TSP member. They can then click on their TSP member name and it will take them to their TSP profile.

What is the best way to do this? I am thinking it would be a custom profile field? If so, what settings do I need to setup for that custom profile field to make it so that their username is surrounded by the correct URL to allow that name to be clicked on and taken to their profile. (I am hoping to avoid them having to enter the full URL of their profile, just enter their username and thats it).
