Invision Community 4: SEO, prepare for v5 and dormant account notifications By Matt Monday at 02:04 PM
Josiah Wallingford Posted March 24, 2018 Posted March 24, 2018 I have upgraded to 4.3 beta and am getting the following message in many places on my site: "The search index is currently processing. (whatever you are at) results may not be complete." My guess is the resolution to this is to rebuild the search index from ACP.
Josiah Wallingford Posted March 24, 2018 Author Posted March 24, 2018 It has been running for over 12 hours now... if it is running at all at this point.
Josiah Wallingford Posted March 24, 2018 Author Posted March 24, 2018 In the ACP I get this notification on my dashboard: If I look at the tasks I see this: I don't see a way of viewing what is in the queue.
Mateusz Posted March 24, 2018 Posted March 24, 2018 Unlock the task. Then enable again rebuild the search index from ACP.
Josiah Wallingford Posted March 24, 2018 Author Posted March 24, 2018 I unlocked the task. Enabled it again (or rather it automatically did that itself) and told it to rebuild the search index. I don't see anything happening in tasks to reflect that being done. I then switched tasks method from Run Automatically with Traffic (Default) to Use cron (Recommended). Obviously I did this after setting up the cron job. Still no changes but I do see the cron job working.
Mark Posted March 24, 2018 Posted March 24, 2018 Please submit a ticket so we can take a look. It sounds like something is causing it to fail.
