I need to email members who have a certain custom field

I never used the bulk mail option and I am trying to send an email to all our members in New York for example

We have a custom field for the members' CITY and I would like to be able to go in the buik mail and be able to send an email invitation for example to all members in a particular city

Not sure if there is already a plug in that does that otherwise let me know how much that would cost

Not a feature in Bulk Mail as you already know.

I think your best bet is to search members on ACP that has this field and move them a temporary group then use the Bulk Mail filtering by that group.

After done, move them back.

Its too complicated for the people who will be doing the mailling they are not very technical

I was using a third party mailing app but I am having issues with it

I thought it would be possible to modify the bulk mailing to provide a drop down that would show the custom fields to pick

You can also export the member list using that field as filter and then use the CSV in an external app/site.
