just a question. In the fluid you see the images?

It’s a block template. It only affects (Pages) forum blocks. If you want to place it on the forum index, you can put the block above or below the regular forum content or in the sidebar.

Where do the background images come from in your example?  If the member has to upload them, what does it look like if they don't have an image?

I comes from the first image attachment of the topic/post. If there is none, it stays blank (there is an example on the product page) or you set up a fallback image for all blank posts. 

Is that error done when assigning a block?

I have Blocks > Plugins > supertopics

Then perhaps I am missing the adding of a widget?  Here is the instructions got with the download.

I see that this is a widget then.  How does a member add a background picture?  Where are the settings for the number of topics in the widget.

It’s a design template for Pages blocks called on the page through the Pages Custom Blocks widget.

In the settings for the Pages block, as with any other Pages block. It’s an IPS core feature. 

Hi! @opentype! I just bought your supertopic plugin and I want to know if I can reduce the space used for boxes in the display view. It seem's too big.

@opentype The imaged used is only the attachment? it doesn't work with an URL image.
