Open link (from editor) in new tab ?

is there anyway to have links created from the editor, to open in a new tab ?

The insert link button on the Editor doesn't have many of the options the link button in the CKEditor (which is what the IPS Editor is based on) that would allow this - essentially you want an attribute like 

target="_blank"

added to your links, which would then cause them to open in a new tab.

You could see about adding/replacing the default link button with the one in the CKEditor, but I haven't looked into how to do this. IPS would be able to advise.

If you click on the link button in the demo editor, you'll see there is a "target" tab, and on it you can specify the attribute I mentioned above.
