Something keeps banning me!

My IP keeps getting added to the ban settings with reason as API. I created an API key and passed the key and the response I got was

}

 As soon as I touch the site, my IP gets banned. Any thoughts? BTW I'm 100% new to this stuff =(

This is a fresh install as well.

when setting up the REST, are you telling it to allow all IPs or just certain ones?
