Way to host only some image attachements on Amazon S3?

I host a site that has MANY image attachments.

I would like it if I could clear out my uploads folder. I have images going back several years using up my disk space.

IS there a way to host all folders from before 2016 on Amazon S3 while keeping the recent stuff on local host?
