Unable to save globalTemplate

Hi,

I recently moved my boards over to a new server with nginx, when i try to save gobalTemplate i get the following error.

IPB support have told me this must be a syntax error, which i find unbelievable due to the fact this is a new install and i have the same problem over both themes. 

Has anyone come across this problem or a way to fix this? i believe it may have something to do with permissions.
