Possible to NOT stop quote embedding ?

My members like to quote quote and requote quote...

Sorry for reviving this old thread, but is there any way to disable this? My members really hate this feature and are begging me to switch to another forum software.

If you highlight text (including the original quote), the it will include the original quote in there.  It's annoying and I'm still trying to find a better way, but at least that kind of works.  Really annoying that IPS keeps removing features instead of just leaving them optional.
