Search is missing search by forum and other narrowed results

Is search still being worked on? There is no search by forum(s), no gear icon like in streams to narrow results. You can visit a forum and search but why no multi-select tool like in streams in advanced search?

And for records, no category search, also, like in streams. To search for active bugs only on this site for example.
