Invision Community 4: SEO, prepare for v5 and dormant account notifications Matt November 11, 2024Nov 11
Posted November 20, 20159 yr It would be awesome if the "Signature" was in the "Edit Profile" page as it makes sense to be there. It's a little more of a nuisance to have to go to "Account Settings" to get to it since you can edit your Profile photo straight from the profile page. I would not mind if it were in both but I'd prefer that it be at least in the "Edit Profile" button.
November 20, 20159 yr Edit Profile is where I always look first, unless I've changed it so recently I remember to go to settings instead. I can edit other members' signatures from *their" Edit Profile page, which does indeed make sense.

December 17, 20159 yr I just searched to find out where I did indeed "edit" my Signature and found this thread, I expected it to be in "my profile"? Edit: Account Settings> Signature Makes sense but I somehow went looking in Profile?
May 24, 20168 yr From what page can "Account settings" be reached? I went straight to edit profile too, as on every other board I post to, that's where sig. info lives. Found it. On reflection, IMHO this setting does belong in "Edit Profile" (if a sig. is not part of one's profile, what is it, I wonder?).
May 24, 20168 yr Author @Kit_L It's under the "user menu" in the top right. Username > Account Settings
May 25, 20168 yr This is one of those instances where I think a simple change in wording would make a world of difference. The links could simply be renamed as "My Profile Page" (because really, that's all this controls ... the user's profile page) and "My Account."
