Error when try to update

At the moment I have an 3.4.8 install but with the 4.x version available I tried to install it on my test server. But with the 4.0 and the latest 4.1 beta I get always the same message when I try to update:

I tried different things, like @Matt suggestion to use FLUSH TABLES but that didn't worked. I hope somebody here knows a solutions because I can't get any further.

It best to open a ticket so IPB can look at your stuff.
