Donation goal start and end date

Hello,

What would be the issues behind the donation goals in Commerce having a start and end date. 

I ask this as my community works on a monthly donation system and we have to reset the goal every month. Would this be possible within Commerce? 

So so basically you'd set a goal with an end date. When that end date is achieved that goal becomes inactive and the next goal would start.

Any comments on this would be appreciated.
