Image signature max size

When submitting "urls" as signature image it will bypass the "max size" limit.. i think i asked before and apparently its not a bug.. whats the point of having image size restriction if members can bypass it and having 1920x1080 images as signature? 

hope to see signature size limit for url  / images like on 3.4
