Is notification not working for some of you?

So I have notification turned on for all of my posts/topics/threads. It's on in my notifications settings. It's on for this thread and others. Yet I haven't received a single notification. I just checked the spam box as well as sending a test mail from gmail. The latter worked, nothing in the former and I'm wondering if others are experiencing the same.
