Skin Replacements Not Working?

First, I used easy logo changer to upload a new logo. The new file uploaded fine, and the 'logo_img' replacement was properly set, but I couldn't get the new logo to display on the site. The original logo persists.

Then, I edited the replacement macro directly, trying different settings to several files. I could not get the original file to change.

Are replacements broken? Are they obsolete?

This is a brand new installation and this feature seems to not work at all.

Ok, never mind, figured it out. My bad.

It was because development mode was enabled on our installation.
