Status Update control

First, I want to say that the status update feature is very popular on our board. Sometime for the wrong reasons too. For some reason, no feature on my board is more popular or less controversial. it's a real love-hate relationship that has been driving me bonkers. I would like to suggest that this feature be developed to include more admin and member controls.

For example:

1) If someone is on ignore it would be best if the ignore blocked the status update from view too.
2) The collapsable toggle only works for the moment, and once someone comes back to the board index the status updates are back. This should stay collapsed.


It would also be great if the feature could be expanded with more controls/features.

1) Give members the ability to disable viewing them from within their UCP.
2) UCP option to view only status updates from friends.
