Feature Suggestion: Forum Rules Only On Forum Topics List

I think it would be nice if you could show the forum rules only on the forum topics list instead of having them show up in every post. This could allow this feature to be used not only for rules, but also for a forum description landing page which could be great for those of us looking to optimize our forums for search engines. The problem with having the full text version show up on every post is that it could cause search engines to flag it as duplicate content.

I like this suggestion as well! Like you said, there should be an option to show it on the topic view or thread/forum listings instead of the global forum rules.

Technically speaking you could create an announcement in that forum and just name it "Forum Rules" and voila you have a forum rules list that appears at the top of your forum.
