Invision Community 4: SEO, prepare for v5 and dormant account notifications By Matt November 11, 2024
dsimms Posted July 31, 2010 Posted July 31, 2010 I would say most site users do not realize the board has color, since it is a really small out of the way icon, at first, even I thought there was no color options for the board. I would say create a nice color panel like phpbb has so that users know and use color options that will make any board that more attractive. also: I am not sure if IPB has signature options, if it does not, then I would say create sig options so admin can allow/disallow signatures by groups/posts. I would also say add a url stripper also, for those that do not allow urls period, as a lot of spammers try to get away with, this extra option could be disabled/enabled by admin to allow URLS by member groups, certain level of posts...posting a url should be privi, not a right... Thanks

Thanks IPB does have plenty of signature options that can be configured per-group. I'm not sure what you mean by a color panel, are you referring to font colors used in posts?
