Invision Community 4: SEO, prepare for v5 and dormant account notifications By Matt November 11, 2024
Wolfie Posted June 16, 2010 Posted June 16, 2010 Fast by about 4 minutes now. Is there any possibility to that server having a cron job to update the clock once a day/week so that it's more accurate instead of running fast so often?
Wolfie Posted July 26, 2010 Author Posted July 26, 2010 Running 3+ min fast now. For real, it would be a good idea to have a cron job to update the clock once a day, like an hour before the chat server is scheduled to reset. That way it might be off by a few seconds at most instead of noticeable minutes.
Wolfie Posted July 26, 2010 Author Posted July 26, 2010 I think it resyncs at the 1am restart. It's a 4am restart and it doesn't resyncs as each day it's ahead more and more. It gave me the 15 minute reset notice at 18 minutes until 4am.

Sorry, pacific timezone here. :P It was 2 minutes off today, I checked on my cellphone. For those of us with .Wolfie OCD, it should be fixed. :P
