Denying Membership - Reason for Denial Option

I manually approve memberships on my forum.

I would like to see an option when an application is denied, that a message can be sent to the applicant with a reason for denial that I can either manually input or choose from a drop-down box. Right now, the only option I see is to delete the applicant that is in the validating queue.
