Skin Retention: 3.0.5 to 3.1.0

Will the skin modifications made on the default IP.Board theme be retained after upgrade from 3.0.5 to 3.1.0 or will the skin modifications need to be applied over again?

Minor modifications include font-resizing, font-color changing, etc. (modifications both in CSS and in the template bits)

They'll need to be reapplied again on the template bits that have changed in 3.1.0.
