srp Posted March 15, 2010 Posted March 15, 2010 Sorry, I just saw that in ACP. I was looking further, and believe I don't see this one, yet :DFeature request: Ability to see submissions through ACP Is it possible to add a feature, so that any forms submitted could also be seen from ACP? So that, it would be very easy to have a first glance of when/who sent the form, what title, etc. I suppose these form submissions shuold be written to database, in order to accomplish this (?).Feature request 2: Ability to select Subject from pre-written drop down menu Currently, subject is input by the customer. This is not a very efficient way, to get messages directed to write departments. For example, if there is a feature to write subjects on ACP, make them in a drop-down menu, so when user goes to the form, they could just pick the subject/department from this drop-down menu, then just write the message and send. This way, it would be easier to sort through messages, and the admin could get each subject directed to another email (if they wish). I believe I saw these features in other form apps (ex: rsform written for joomla), and they prove to be very powerful. Regards

Yes, they aren't saved on database... only send email, create topic or send PM. I really don't know if it's necessary. If so, it's better to use a forum or an app to the submitter see the submission and answers. Anyway, I won't make big changes now on this app... I will wait for IP.Board 3.1.0, when I'll add a new type of submission: inline notification.
Depotoir Posted March 25, 2010 Posted March 25, 2010 I think I'll install this. It looks like the application is bug free. Is it, for real?
Adriano Faria Posted March 25, 2010 Author Posted March 25, 2010 No bug reported. Just suggestions...
Depotoir Posted March 26, 2010 Posted March 26, 2010 Works fine on my board. http://www.depotoir.ca/index.php?app=contato Except one frustrating thing : I'm receiving three copies in my email inbox.
Adriano Faria Posted March 26, 2010 Author Posted March 26, 2010 It depends on how you are using it. Did you choose ALL ways to receive the form: PM, Topic and Email ? I can only image that you chose a forum that sends you a email when a new topic is created and PM sent you an email as well, to tell that you got a PM. Right ? This way you got 3 emails.
Adriano Faria Posted March 26, 2010 Author Posted March 26, 2010 Honestly, I don't know. This is something really new... this file has only here on IPS, 168 downloads. If it were really a bug, should happened with anyone else.
Depotoir Posted March 26, 2010 Posted March 26, 2010 Can you try sending me a message via my contact form?
Adriano Faria Posted March 26, 2010 Author Posted March 26, 2010 What's the answer for:Quel est le pr
Depotoir Posted March 26, 2010 Posted March 26, 2010 Yup, triple messages! Anyway, I'll live with it. :(
Adriano Faria Posted March 26, 2010 Author Posted March 26, 2010 Can you test it on my board http://forum.sosinvi...php?app=contato ?
Depotoir Posted March 26, 2010 Posted March 26, 2010 Hum, is there any way to send the email to another adress (not the board incoming email adress). One that I can manually select? I guess I have to edit some files.
chopin Posted March 29, 2010 Posted March 29, 2010 One problem I am having with this contact for is that I am receiving duplicate emails to my inbox. Can you help?
Adriano Faria Posted March 29, 2010 Author Posted March 29, 2010 A user posted something like that... but honestly, the script run once... I don't know what it's happening there. Which settings are you using ?
chopin Posted March 30, 2010 Posted March 30, 2010 Groups allowed to use the contact form: all Max size of message: 3000 Handling messages: email Enable email copy: no Enable CAPTCHA: yes Enable anti spam questions: no Enable announcement: no
AlexJ Posted March 31, 2010 Posted March 31, 2010 I finally figured the error myself. Basically, when you remove the application from the ACP it still keeps the record in upgrade_history table. Once I deleted that record I was able to install the mod without any problem. But now I am getting database character error: Is their anyway to fix those?
Adriano Faria Posted April 1, 2010 Author Posted April 1, 2010 This message is hard-coded! :o Open admin\applications_addon\other\contato\skin_cp\cp_skin_tools.php and find:Nenhum campo disponível! Change to: No Custom Field available! I will wait for 3.1.0 to update this app to add inline notifications, fix this bug and add 2 suggestions.
AlexJ Posted April 2, 2010 Posted April 2, 2010 Awesome! Just u future suggestion: Is their anyway to add drop down options? Example: From drop down menu they can select Sales, Contact, Support, Abuse, etc?
