Furl in IPB 3.0

Now I know there is going to an seo/furl option with IPB 3.0 but I wanna know if we will be able to add our own url rewrites

Lets say you have an custom module which has

http://index.com/index.php?autcom=test


I would like it to be

http://index.com/test.html instead

This would improve the hit rate of the searching engines, it's good for the customers. Hope IPS can add this function.
