blackfalcon Posted June 3, 2008 Posted June 3, 2008 A good feature would be moderator group color baced on forum. For example, you can make staffs usergroups colored. A good feature to add is if someone is only a regular moderator, then when they post on a forum that they are not a moderator of, their group color is one color, but on the forums that they are moderator it is a different color. So simply, instead of moderators having X color on all forums, they only have that color on forums that they have permission on.
Morrigan Posted June 3, 2008 Posted June 3, 2008 I really prefer to put my moderators into a special group so everyone knows that they are a moderator. Whether or not they are a moderator over the area they are still a staff member and should be recognized for it.
blackfalcon Posted June 3, 2008 Posted June 3, 2008 they are still reconised as being moderators, and their usergroup still says "moderator",however it is only colored on the forums that they are moderators on, so members can quickly reconize the moderators of a forum.
Morrigan Posted June 3, 2008 Posted June 3, 2008 I still don't agree with that. Being colored is part of them being staff IMO so taking that away would be like taking away a privilege of being staff. That's a big reason why I hate using SMF software.
