Pips/Member Groups

I think quite a few of us would be really appreciative to get another option in adding a usergroup option that says:
Show pip always?
Or something similar so that it shows secondary pips in posts by default without a mod.

It would help for those of us that we like to add a group to users because they donate or are a special member in some way.
