Invision Community 4: SEO, prepare for v5 and dormant account notifications Matt November 11, 2024Nov 11
June 5, 200717 yr The fact that the topic in feedback was also in this forum today, leaving a move link not 5 topics down, makes it even funnier that this topic even exists. :P
June 5, 200717 yr I like that it's simpler, and a change from the old too much used blue, but I would be drawn away from your product just because it's so glum looking. At least the other skin was bright and cheery.
June 5, 200717 yr I love it, I think it looks much more professional and less in your face. :)Good work :D
June 5, 200717 yr It's very uninviting - I hope this skin is not the default for all guests. I think the classic blue skin would be better for sales, but I do like the simplicity the new skin.
June 5, 200717 yr The new skin is b*tchin'I love the look, have been a bit tired of blue for years...
June 5, 200717 yr Little bug - the background tile for the dynamic 'Site Message' update box in the user profile. :)
June 5, 200717 yr It's always rather amusing yet interesting to see opinion of changes evenly split down the middle.I just knew you'd say something about an even split down the middle, "Tailz."
June 5, 200717 yr I like the new skin personally well done and thank you for giving more choice. The blue was looking a bit tired (although the latest revision had given it some extra life and sublety) and the buttons will fit nicely with a new gray, gold and black colour skin I'm going to start on for when I upgrade my forums.
June 5, 200717 yr The new skin is purposely simpler and takes a lot of the "eye candy" away... the point is to make modifying easier. We offer both because we know, depending on what you're looking for in a skin, you will like one but not the other :)While the skin has less background imagery, there is more css added to it, and (from just looking at the pages) more template editing. :PAdding new things to learn and change hardly makes it easier for the novice/hobbyist skinner. :) I like it. The people who prefer the older skin I think is largely a case of nostalgia... We like what we're used to, sudden changes are often to radical. I think we should all give the new skin some time, we'll get used to it just like we did with the old one.I like change. :P There's quite a few reasons that I don't care for this skin, but I don't need to rip apart every little thing that irks me. :PThere's a skin selector for a reason. ^_^
June 5, 200717 yr Ick. Once again the concept of hues is lost and the amount of hex codes has increased too.

June 5, 200717 yr i noticed a bug in the my assistance, the current tab is all black and cant read the font
June 5, 200717 yr I have to say no complaints on this one. I like the skin, and it looks good, their is no clutter, or excess "stuffing" in it.Personally good job, and anything is better then that ugly default blue I was getting so tired of it. Nice job to the designer because its NOT a dark skin, but not light is pleasing to the eye, although maybe some images could have been used the post was across that its mostly CSS and I like it.Great job. ;)
June 5, 200717 yr I replied to the other topic its a nice skin, pleasing to the eye. Where do we download it?Edit: sorta matches my avatar :P
