, but does not offer a download or support. This is the only version of IPB free IPB hosting companies can use (the IPB 2.x.x license does not allow hosting multiple boards by using the same license).

I got a copy of 1.3 from a friend a long time ago. How can I make sure it isn't nulled. I don't know where he got it from. Does it matter or...

You may only use copies of IPB that were obtained directly from ourselves or an authorised reseller - so in this case it would not be legal.
