attachment thumbnails and resized external pictures

I don't understand the following (as examples):

resized external linked images would show at the top- Reduced: 85% of original size [ 600 x 400 ] - Click to view full image

whereas..

attachment thumbnails wouldd show- Reduced 4%
and the resolution and size at the bottom of the thumbnail: 251 x 312 (230.4k)

And to enlarge attachments, you click on the image itself, to enlarge externally linked images, on the other hand, you click on the image info bar at the top....

I want to know where is the uniformity? :rolleyes: Help me understand why you guys make it this way.

It'd be better to show all information at the top, like external resized images :blink:
