Suggestion: resize attached image while upload

Many of my board visitors attach very big images "as is". Whose images are too big and causes useless waste of space. I think, it whould be nice to automatically downscale images after upload. To get 200kb files instead of 5Mb, for example.

Gallery already have such feature, to define maximal picture dimentions, but forum - doesn't.

I remember, here were similar suggections of the same kind, but nothing happended. Only third-paty mods available. I think, such functionality is significant enougth to be official.

Can I hope to see such feature in next releases?

theres about a dozen things that handle the image size, easiest one in acp theres a few things to determine the size of images, look at it...

Hm... I use 2.1.7. Not tryed 2.2.1 in production yet, waiting for 2.2.2. It's very nice if it has such things already. Thank you for explanation.

I've checked twice all featuresof 2.3.1, but did't found the requested one.
