Soul Masta Posted December 8, 2006 Posted December 8, 2006 Just a quick question - There is no perpetual/lifetime license, like free upgrades, such as there previously was, correct? Or, have I misunderstood the previous system in relation to the current one? Just curious, before purchasing the license.
Brandon C Posted December 8, 2006 Posted December 8, 2006 No, there are only two main types of licenses for IP.Board. Visit http://community.ipslink.com/board/purchase.html to read more about the license structure for IP.Board.

Just curious, before purchasing the license. If you had a perpetual or lifetime license already before the change, nothing changed, if you had a active yearly license however, you were upgrade to the new standard license and are allowed access to upgrades for what would have been the life of your old yearly license. The new standard license requires you to purchase ( optional ) to purchase support for a term of 6 months for $25 to get access to support and upgrades. This purchase is optional but required if you want said "updates", I only use the word required because I am tongue tied tonight.I am sure IPS staff will be more then happy to answer any questions you might have, just send them an email.
