MaK'77 Posted October 19, 2006 Posted October 19, 2006 i have edited the show_subforum_all_links template, putting in it the {ibf.lang['sub_forum_title']} macro, but on the board this is not converted to the macro value, it's printed as is {ibf.lang['sub_forum_title']}is it a bug or can someone help?this is my full template<br /><span class="subforumlinks"><img src="style_images/<#IMG_DIR#>/nav_m_dark.gif" border="0" /><b>{ibf.lang['sub_forum_title']}:</b> $links</span>
reflection Posted October 19, 2006 Posted October 19, 2006 I think (can't check for sure) that you forgot a $ in front of ibf. It's not a macro, it's a PHP var you are placing.
MaK'77 Posted October 19, 2006 Posted October 19, 2006 mh, i have always used macro like this, without $, if i put a $ i get a white page...
MaK'77 Posted October 19, 2006 Posted October 19, 2006 i solved using {$this->ipsclass->lang['sub_forum_title']} but the former method worked in 2.1.7...
Michael Posted October 19, 2006 Posted October 19, 2006 Yes, they changed all 'ipb.' variables in the templates to the appropriate '$this->ipsclass->' variables in 2.2.
reflection Posted October 19, 2006 Posted October 19, 2006 Yes, they changed all 'ipb.' variables in the templates to the appropriate '$this->ipsclass->' variables in 2.2.ahh yeah.. that is correct
