Hi, One important addition to the platform would be to add support for gmail's feedback loop, so we could easily identify which emails are being marked as spam by our users. Currently, our email server is with a low reputation on Gmail's Postmaster Tools, as many users are marking our transactional emails as spam insteading of unsubscribing from the topics they are following, for example. It would be nice to see exactly the kind of emails that the users are marking as spam, so we can improve our server's reputation and deliverability. More info: https://support.google.com/mail/answer/6254652 Thanks.

In Fluid View, there is no visual cue to indicate if any filters are applied using the checkboxes in the sidebar widget. If there are many subforums, user may miss to notice some subforums were checked at the bottom and wonder why not all topics are showing in the topic list. On the top where it renders the title "Topics", it could instead display (only if any filters are in effect) - Topics (4 filters) clear The above title shows how many filters are currently in effect and a "clear" link button to reset all filters with one click (instead of having to find each checked box and uncheck them one at a time which is a bad UX). TIA

Some topics are so short-lived like job postings that are valid for just 30 days. Is it possible to set a specific job postings forum to have its topics purged after 30 days? I see only a global setting to purge topics after specified number of years from all forums. it would be nice to have this feature for specific forums.

Clicking on "Enable in this browser" does nothing using the new Safari PWA on my Mac. Not sure if this issue is specific to me or is a general bug affecting other users.

Just started using the PWA for this site in Safari ("Add to Dock" in Share menu) on my Mac... The default theme for Invision Community still doesn't have buttons/links for Back/Forward/Refresh when using the PWA. Keyboard shortcuts are available and the Go menu does have Back and Forward actions, so not having UI elements is not a big deal on the Mac PWA. But the same issue affects the UX when using the IOS PWA so it is a problem for Apple device users. Please fix the default theme for Invision Community to address this navigation issue in the PWA and make sure the new default theme in IC5 corrects this UX issue.

When trying to sell ad space, there does not appear to be any to specify the exact size of an image. I see you can set a maximum size, but that would allow people to upload a 20x20 box where a leaderboard is designed to fit on the site. This seems like a strange approach and easily fixable by also allowing setting a minimum size. Of course and exact size or ratio setting would also be great. Unless I am missing something here.

My forum need a 'block' feature. It works well on Facebook, someone stalks me, they are blocked - never to be seen again. Call it a Ban feature. Possible?

Hey team, wondering... Is it possible to have someone who just signed up for a subscription taken to a thank you page? Currently... there doesn't appear to be a method to thank them for their support after they've subscribed. They subscribe and then once it processes, it takes them back to the subscriptions page. I'd love to have them immediately sent to a page thanking them. Thoughts?

Putting this here as a suggestion. It'd be really nice if links working inside the Pages App widgets (either links inside WYSIWYG blocks, Upload Image blocks, etc.) had the option to open in a new tab. That seems like a pretty basic option that would make life so much easier. Perhaps this could be a feature in coming versions/updates? Thanks!

On the Forums and other pages, I don't see a way to add a 3-column component (similar to Article Pages) to place some widgets in them. Sidebar becomes too tall with widgets and placing widgets in the left/wide bar makes the widgets too wide and not optimal. Please provide a way to add extra 2-column and 3-column template components to Forums and other pages (top and bottom) in the left/wide bar. These would not show at runtime if not used and nothing is placed in them and so they would not break anything. TIA

In Fluid View mode, pinned topics from all subforums would probably occupy more than half of the first page. Instead, there could be a config option to render 2-4 pinned topics on each row on the top of topic list (instead of one pinned topic per row). This way, all pinned topics would get accommodated on a couple of topic list rows to save vertical space and scroll-fest for a better UX. TIA

Hi, My name is David. I run a side business called Mountain Interactive and frequently browse forum pages around Invision community. I've used Discord mainly for my community with over 34k+ Members. I am more attracted to running a website (forum) instead for communication as it is a more safer and enjoyable way, discord feels too corporate and doesn't give you enough room for customization. Now, I used to use Xenforo and left because they made an error while cloud hosting my site and I lost pretty much all my site data and subscribers which is really important when you're making $20,000 a month and need to ensure that your billing is working as normal every single d…

Not sure how difficult this would be to implement but. For the CMS/Pages application: The ability to choose different schema types for different databases and pages, such as an about page, using to json-ld generator. Also since different schema types have different properties, the ability to match/ choose schema properties with custom field types. This is similar to how yoastSEO and similar WordPress SEO plugins works. I'm not sure if this is fully possible with the Google data layer but that seems a bit complicated to implement.

Permissions needed for Events > Subscribe > Download iCalendar Export Subscribe to iCalendar Feed Currently, anyone can download/subscribe to these and if the data was gathered and put together painstakingly after extensive research for months, anyone could simply download and upload it into their site's events module within seconds. TIA

Hi guys, not sure if this is already being worked on for V5 but I'm throwing it out there. Basically I'd love for there to be a way to set different navigation menus depending on the device a user is browsing the community on. I ask this because on desktop, I might want to have three major menu items on display before having a "More" dropdown that houses all other sections of the community... but on mobile (where the user menu is vertical and offers more space) I would want to have all menu items lined up on the top level without any dropdown/nested menus. It'd be great to allow for different menus per device/theme to account for this, or if that's too much mayb…

I have a single forum and a few clubs. When I go to Display Settings of the forum, the "Enable Combined Fluid View?" switch is disabled with a warning - Combined fluid view cannot be enabled as this forum does not have any sub-forums Multiple forums will fragment discussions and lower forum activity negatively. I used clubs to segment popular topics but would like to offer an option to users to consolidate the forum/clubs content in a Fluid view. I guess it would be ideal to consider the Clubs as sub-forums and allow to enable Fluid View of the single forum in conjunction with Clubs. The Clubs widget (on the Forum page) could be reused/repurposed with checkboxes…

Currently, when we click the Category heading in the filters widget, all the checkboxes/subforums under the category get selected (toggle behavior). However, there is no way the user would know that is how it works and they select/unselect each subforum manually which is a bad UX. Instead, there should be a checkbox for each Category heading too which will bulk-toggle the selections of all subforums under the category (expected behavior). TIA

On Discussion type forums, the forum name of the topic is displayed on topic detail page. Forum name is rendered under "By Administrator" followed by Date and Forum name (clickable blend-link). But on Question type forums, this forum name is missing and there is no way to tell from the topic detail page to which forum the topic belongs. You can see under "Asked by Administrator" it says 13 minutes ago but no forum name. Instead of rendering the forum name under "Asked by Admin" as a blend-link, it would be ideal to add the Forum name in the breadcrumb on the top where it says "Home > Welcome!" - it should ideally say - …

I recently upgraded from 4.7.13 to 4.7.14 and soon after my server began sending me "Excessive Resource" warnings--a couple of dozen per day, which the task exceeds 600MB. I know I can change the memory level on my server to a higher warning level to stop receiving them, but before doing so I wanted to mention this, and ask what with the recent update my cause this sudden change? Some of the warnings are also about excessive time to complete the process. Has anyone else noticed this?

I had to rebuild Achievements and other stuff that has taken a good 10 days now (huge forum). The problems with the current functionality is that other background processes get completely stuck while big processes are running. I now have over 2,000 processes in wait state... (se attachment) Any way to push/change so "small" background processes could run asynchronous? ---

Hi team, If we have many groups and many content it is very complicated to set permissions because all the groups appear out of order. We only order by name in the groups page, can be useful to search some group name but not when set permissions in new forum created. We've all groups mixed, guests, admin, moderators, partners, ex-partners, etcc... and it's dificult So It would be very useful to be able to sort them manually as we do with the forums and have them appear in this order when assigning permissions. This would save us time and many errors when assigning privileges in our communities. Can you consider for upcoming upgrades? Thanks a lot.

Hello, The available GeoIP integration is a very good idea. However, in practice it causes more confusion instead of helping with security, because the location detection is highly inaccurate. I looked this up and it seems the integration uses an API on IPS infrastructure, which in turn polls the free version of the MaxMind databse (GeoLite2). Is there any way to switch the GeoIP integration to our own Maxmind subscription? We already have a GeoIP2 City Database subscription and we'd like to use it. Thanks!
