When will 3.0.2 be released?
I predict it will be released at the same time as IP.Board 3.0.2.

We will haven't the upgrade packages?
Actually, speaking of shortcuts to upgrade, has IPS ever considered generating DIFF files so those of us who are able to can use the patch command?
-
We will haven't the upgrade packages?
Use a simple tool called PuTTY (it's one file) and you just put your server address or IP in the Host Name box and click Open. It will need to ask if you trust it before you connect, and then just type your username and password.

Powered By IP.Board 3.0.1
Stop being pretentious. If you don't like my advice, don't read it you genius.

Powered By IP.Board 3.0.1
As I pointed out in another thread, there's a shortcut to upgrading if no upgrade package is available - see the post here.

We will haven't the upgrade packages?
A short cut if you have Shell access (SSH) is to zip up all the files in the "board" directory (but not the directory) and then upload the ZIP onto your server via FTP, then using Shell, unzip with the -o switch (overwrite). If you don't have Shell access, cPanel's file manager also has an unzip function, if I am not mistaken. That's all I do every time. It's uploaded in less than a minute then. It's much faster to upload one large file than a thousand small files.

IPB about to go big time
Oh, the days of Perl-based forum software!
-
IPB about to go big time
The new ACP in the new 4.0 is very very similar in feel to the way IPB's ACP has felt and worked since 2.2 (tabbed menu). I'd have though that maybe they would go with a drop-down menu system or similar? Oh well. I guess whatever works best.

I hope we're not going to have all the disgruntled vB users come here and start using our friendly forum to grumble?

Invision Power Board 3.0.0 and Applications Released
Just love it, guys! Congratulations!
-
Final or RC3?
Ahhh, excellent! That's what I like to hear :) A good, third party audit!
-
Final or RC3?
Are you guys going to do any sort of professional security audit before final release to check for major security holes that could have been overlooked?
-
Perpetual licenses and peer-to-peer support?
Oh come now, guys! I was just teasing a little. ;) I actually use both IPS and the other paid solution. Nobody really knows the final pricing structure of their software yet anyhow.
